Sweeney's 1 Quart Ready-To-Spray Mole and Gopher Repellent
Moles be gone
Drive away moles, voles and gophers from lawns and ornamentals with Sweeney’s easy-to-use Mole & Gopher Repellent. The highly effective liquid repellent is 100 percent castor oil – when soaked into soil it works to contaminate the moles underground food source (earthworms, grubs and insects). Long-lasting, the poison-free repellent can safely be used around children and pets.
Easy-to-apply
To apply repellent, simply attach a garden hose tightly to the self-dispensing container and adjust the nozzle to mix. Turn water supply on to full pressure and spray the product over mole-infested areas. Repellent should be sprayed at a rate of one quart of product per 10,000 square feet (e.g. a 100 feet by 100 feet square).
After the repellent is sprayed on area to be treated, adjust the container nozzle to 'water' and continue to spray with water to soak the product into the soil (approximately 20 minutes).
When-to-apply
Treat all areas immediately after the presence of moles is detected. The presence of moles may be indicated by a network of surface ridges or by a series of conical mounds of earth pushed up from deep burrows. Treat lawn in early Spring, mid-Summer and early Fall.

Answers to frequently asked questions:
Q: Will Sweeney’s mole and gopher repellents kill my grass?
A:The active ingredient in Sweeney's Mole & Gopher Repellent is castor oil which is safe to use on grass and plants. When applying the repellent, be sure to set the nozzle on the self-dispensing system to the mix setting.
Q: How does the repellent work to repel moles and gophers?
A: After applying, water the product into the ground to activate the repellent. This makes the ground smell and taste unpleasant, sending underground pests scurrying away to find a tastier food source.
Q: Can I use Sweeney’s Mole and Gopher Repellent around children and pets?
A: Sweeney's Mole & Gopher Repellent is an all-natural, chemical free repellent. Made with 100 percent castor oil, the repellent is safe to use on lawns and gardens as well as around children and pets.

In reading reviews, I noticed that some people are disappointed that one application won't permanently rid their yard of moles. That is never going to happen. They are industrious, determined little creatures and this battle is going to go on forever. If I had to spray every single month during the season, it would still be worthwhile for me. I guess it just depends on how bad the mole problem is and how much it bothers any individual person. I enjoy my yard too much to cede it over to the moles. I am glad, however, that I didn't actually have to kill them to regain my back yard.
Also, I ordered one of these spray gadgets and several quarts of plain castor oil and just refilled this dispenser. It was a little less expensive that way. Either way, it is much less expensive than dealing with professional exterminators (and they can't guarantee that the moles won't return either.)
The product does work but it does require a pretty heavy application. The down side is it doesn't last long. I went to the poison worms and hopes to eradicate the problem.
Went to the website, and all over the 'Net' to see what advise was there on how to use it and apply it. Followed several tips of soaking before, then soaking after, a dozen different things that would be variables. Went thru 2 containers, which was supposed to cover WAY, WAY more space, and still, every day, new Mole Hills. Its as if they actually 'enjoyed' the taste of this stuff. I am dumb founded. My wife laughed at me, and while I had mosquito bites all over from being out there in the evening and early morning spraying religiously, I got nothing!.
So in frustration I went ahead an bought the Victor Out O'Sight Mole Trap here on Amazon. Came in 2 days, fast with Prime. Watched a couple video's on YouTube that were perfect explanations on how to set it up and use it. In 6 hours, I had a dead mole. No joke, honest! My wife was laughing, I was almost crying it was so simple, yet it took me so long to realize this.
Read all the reviews, seems somehow this works for some folks, but for me, despite being dogmatic and vigilant, I got no results. My advise, save the $$ and buy Victor Trap, and know they are going to be gone forever. No just 'shushed' away, only to come back later, but that as they arrive, they are gone.
