Protect your vehicle from costly damage and safety hazards with our reliable and effective solution.
- Easy Installation and Mounting: This rodent repellent is designed for simple 2 wire installation under the hood, connected directly to your vehicle's 12-volt battery in engine compartment. It's easy to mount with included reusable zip ties, giving you peace of mind that your car is protected in minutes.
- Low Voltage Protection: This ultrasonic rodent repellent device is equipped with advanced low voltage protection that automatically stops working to protect your car's battery when voltage drops below 10.7 volts (±0.2 volts). This ensures long-lasting performance and prevents battery drainage.

Product Description
Rodent Damage
Rodents and other animals might take shelter under the hood of your engine, especially during chilly winter and spring days since car engines are usually warm, dry and undisturbed, providing an ideal shelter for feeding, resting or breeding. Once in there, these creatures can cause considerable damage to the car. Engine wires are particularly vulnerable to rodent damage. If rodents chew away the insulation covering the wires, it can cause short circuits, resulting in expensive damage to engine.
Loraffe Under Hood Animal Repeller
Ultrasonic Pest Repellent for Vehicles (Protected by US Patent)
Rats, mice, squirrels, martens, chipmunks and other destructive rodents often shelter under the hood of vehicles and damage wiring harnesses, cables and other expensive parts. Loraffe Under Hood Animal Repeller emits sonic waves and ultrasonic waves that cause their intense auditory stress and LED strobe lights that target their eyesight to create a hostile environment under the bonnet for animals or pests to live, and force them to move on and escape from your car.
- Constantly variable high-intensity ultrasonic pulses (inaudible)
- 3 LED strobe lights
- Easy to install
- Connects to 12 or 24 volts car battery
- On/Off Button
- Low power consumption
- Low-voltage protection

Recommended Using in the Engine CompartmentDesigned for use in most Gasoline and Diesel vehicles where the 12-volt or 24-volt battery is located in the engine compartment. **NOTE**: The wires should be connected to the 12-volt or 24-volt battery located in the engine compartment. Please check the location of your vehicle's battery before purchase. |
No Suggested for Electric or Hybrid Electric VehiclesNot suggested using in the Electric or Hybrid Electric Vehicles, or vehicles with battery located in the passengers' compartment or in the trunk. The challenge lies in the accessibility of the 12-volt or 24-volt battery, as well as the limitations of the unit's reach. |
CAUTION Before PurchaseCertain vehicles' electrical systems may restrict the connection of external devices, such as under hood rodent repellent, which could potentially trigger the vehicle's warning system. If you have concerns, please contact the vehicle manufacturer to inquire about the compatibility of your vehicle’s electrical system before purchase. |
HEAT RESISTANT
The Under Hood Rodent Repellent is designed for use in the engine compartment, featuring durable, fire-resistant materials capable of withstanding extreme under hood conditions.
It functions reliably within a temperature range of approximately -20°C (-4°F) to around 80°C (176°F). Operating it outside of this range can cause device damage.
Please ensure that the device is not exposed to excessive heat. Avoid placing it on or near the car engine, exhaust manifold, or any other high-temperature zones.

1 - It at least annoys them.
2 - Packrats are frightenly smart. I mean they snipped that cable cleanly in half (both pos and neg).
Fortunately I also had a blinker module hooked up to an led marker bulb. That kept them from building a nest down under the intake manifold on a Ford V10. Also fortunately they did not chew off the charger wires this time. I also keep large bait block feeders stocked near my vehicles. I know those work because I found a dead packrat under the hood. They are smart, but little pigs. I think I will try an ultrasonic generator next. Whatever I use, I need to armor the wiring. DIY pepper spray (Carolina reeper powdre in isopropyl) works, but I end up getting it on myself when I work on vehicles.
Now I have to figure out how to keep the Javalina from dragging the bait stations out into the yard.
