It can be applied on a great variety of Northern and Southern grass types. This no-mix, ready-to-spray formula will help kill pesky weeds, not your lawn.

Where Not to Use: Do not spray over the top of flowers, ornamentals (including herbaceous) or garden vegetables other than those listed on the label under 'Control of Weeds in Ornamentals'.
Do not use on turfgrasses other than those listed on the label.
For Spot Treatments in Your Lawn: Try the Ortho Nutsedge Killer for Lawns Ready-To-Use 24 oz. trigger sprayer.

Customers are mixed about the performance of the weed moss control agent. Some mention that it works well to control nutsedge and about 50 other weeds. It does a great job on broadleaf weed, and will actually kill crabgrass. However, others say that it did kill some of their grass and that they had to keep treating the lawn repeatedly.

Customers are mixed about the ease of use of the weed moss control agent. Some mention it's very easy to use, effective, and simple. They say the hose end attachment makes applying the product easy. However, other customers say that the hand spray is not nearly enough for the amount of nutsedge they have in their lawn, the application is minimal, and it takes several times to work. They also say the spray from the sprayer was quite uneven.
"...It's easy to use with a hose and has great coverage. One thing that I think helped it disappear quickly is that I applied it right after mowing...." Read more
"Application was fairly easy. It definitely stresses the lawn grass (kills some types), but it hits the nutsedge harder...." Read more

"...It is easy and convenient to use. All I have to do is hook the container up to my garden hose and spray...." Read more

The bottle/applicator has always been a bit of a pain to screw onto the hose (meaning it works, but it can be a bit of a struggle or more of a struggle than it should be), but today's brand new bottle was just plain defective in some way. Even with the hose tight it was spewing water (and chemicals) out at the join and all around me/on me.
I'll buy it again, because it really does work, but Ortho should go back to the drawing board on the bottle/applicator.
I went through 4 bottles of the hand spray. It killed some of it but never all of it. Some of the purple seems to be completely unaffected by this.
The hose end sprayer seems to work better but still will not get it all. I have treated lawn thoroughly with this stuff about 5 times this year. It seems to kill the yellow nutsedge pretty well but does not seem to do much with the purple nutsedge. It did kill some of my grass but I was perfectly fine with that because it only killed unwanted types of grass (the KBG for example is perfectly happy).
I have been through several bottles of each this year and made some good progress finally but still cannot get it all. I have resorted to literally pulling up patches of sod to get to the roots, adding top soil and re-seeding in the really bad areas.
