Apparently if you don't give higher stars they delete your review. I received a leaky bottle, couldn't see the instrument because it dissolved. The product does smell good, I will see if it does the trick. If not I have to throw out a brand new chaise lounge thanks to a demonic cat!
One of our cats sometimes goes on a rampage urine marking throughout the house. For years we used a product that rhymes with shmature's shmiracle to clean affected places because it was the only thing available for miles around. They changed the formula a while back and it straight up doesn't work anymore.
I gave this stuff a shot and was happily surprised that it does remove urine stink. I used it on a bare wood floor, on a painted plywood wall panel, and on carpet. It was most successful on the carpet. I sprayed it REALLY generously and rubbed it in, and left it to dry. It got rid of the smell, but the offending cat did return to mark again. After 3 rounds of battle he has stopped peeing in the closet and there's no residual smell whatsoever. (Side note: it may not take multiple applications for you. This instance was that the cat had been marking this closet for a long time and so it took a whole lot of intervention to stop the behavior.)
This stuff does have a very strong smell while it's wet, but unless I put my nose right into the carpet, I don't smell it after it's fully dry. Even better, the smell doesn't aggravate my asthma like the other product was doing. I'm relieved to find a product that works on cat wizz because ho boy is that a smell
EDIT: Our little darling struck again. As i was getting out my winter clothes he jumped into the box while my back was turned and tagged my swimsuit and some shirts. I almost threw them away, then remembered I had the Anti-Icky. I soaked the clothes with it, stuffed them into a trash bag, tied it shut, and let it marinate for a two days so it could work its miracles. Then I put them through a rinse-n-spin cycle with cold water, and finally a regular wash cycle in cold water. CRYING EMOJI Y'ALL IT WORKED! Swimsuits aren't cheap, this stuff saved me a ton of money I'd've had to spend to replace the stuff my goblin peed on. I hope this'll help somebody else.
It takes about 2 applications, but it really works well. Bottle is small for the money so I'd recommend buying the gallon as it's a much better bang for the buck.
First I will start off by saying that I ordered this product and received the package soaked as the bottle opened during transit. I signed onto Amazon and stated that I received it damaged and they processed a new order free of charge of course and quickly shipped out it out. Very Happy with that service. Also, since the package was soaked the smell of the spray permeated my kitchen, the cat ran in meowing loudly or as I like to say yelling and investigating the package and the scent. Not entirely sure if he liked the smell or loathed it, either way I know I love the product as there is something to finally combat the smell of his stench. Finally, this review is cross posted, also posted on the Unscented Anti Icky Poo.
Within the last couple weeks our cat has decided to urinate on every expensive article he can find. It started with him climbing into my Michael Kors bag and filling it and my MK wallet with a puddle of pee, then he decided that peeing on two pairs of Brook Brothers Men's dress slacks was next on his list and finally ended with peeing on a recliner. Upon finding the pee in my purse I dumped everything in the trash and started cleaning it with soap and water and using Nature's Miracle hoping that would work and take away the scent... Sadly it did not. I now had an expensive pee purse that I refused to use because the smell of his urine was so strong I went and bought a cheap $20 bag to hold me over. Several days later he decided to use my SO's dress slacks as his litter box. Immediately I brought them to the cleaners hoping that they would be able to remove the smell, again I was disappointed as the smell did not go away when I picked them up, it actually seemed to be even worse.
That's when I started investigating what we could do to get this overbearing smell out of all of our stuff as we can't just toss over $800 worth of stuff away. Thankfully I stumbled upon a thread where someone else had gotten their wool dress slacks urinated on and people recommended that he try Anti Icky Poo. Naturally I was skeptical as Nature's Miracle is supposed to be wonderful but yet it did nothing to get rid of the scent... After reading many reviews I caved and bought both the unscented and the scented. I used the unscented on SO's dress slacks so I could make sure that the scent was completely gone before bringing them back to the cleaners and the scented for my purse. I was worried the scented would be too strong or have an unpleasant scent however that's not the case. Honestly the smell reminds me of shampoo and it goes away within several days.
I sprayed the scented in my bag and wallet and that same day the smell was gone which made me super happy. As for the pants it's taken several sprays to get the smell out. I'm assuming this is probably since they were soaked with pee and then dry cleaned and pressed. The smell is gone, and the spray does not leave the clothing with an residue or discoloration so we are extremely overjoyed. I have recommended this product to several people already and will continue to do so. I am very glad that I stumbled upon this product. 10/10 will buy again.
The smell of the product is good, but it’s kind of overpowering. It did cover the smell when I used it but after drive down the smell quickly return. This is not a product that I will be purchasing in the future.
