This hammock is simply amazing. From the moment I picked it up, through every step of using it, I was continually impressed at how well-designed it is.
The first thing you notice is how light it is...it weighs less than 2 pounds. For reference, without the stakes (I don't use them) it weighs about as much as two cans of beer.
Then you open the bag and find that the bag is sewn to the hammock, which is such a simple but effective way of ensuring you don't need to worry about putting the bag somewhere once set up. In fact, once you have the hammock set up you notice that the bag is actually a super convenient pouch to store items from your pockets while you relax. Very clever and practical.
Setting the hammock up is so simple once you get a feel for the amount of space you need between trees. Even if you don't have the perfect distance you can just loop the strap around the tree once or twice to tighten it up. I had it set up in minutes on the first try.
Not only is this hammock very comfortable for lying down in, it's really nice for sitting upright as well. If you position yourself in the right way the hammock provides a sturdy back support as if you were sitting in a chair. The bug netting is also an excellent feature. If you need to escape biting insects in hot weather, sometimes a tent can feel stuffy, but the netting on this hammock breathes very well.
It seems to be able to expand infinitely to be able to hold two people comfortably, but what's also nice is that it doesn't feel too large if you're using it alone.
When you finally decide to start moving again, which is hard to do once you get into this hammock, packing it up is ridiculously quick and easy. I've had sleeping bags over the years where you basically need to be a professional cigar roller to get it to fit into the bag, but this hammock doesn't have that problem. Whether you fold it neatly or just bunch it up and stuff it in, the bag is the perfect size.
As for durability, I've owned this hammock for almost a year and have taken it on several multiple-day camping trips, along with many day hikes and bike rides, without any issues so far. Time will tell if it continues to hold up but honestly, for less than $30 I feel I've already gotten my money's worth. If it fails I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

Yes, it's true, the hammock is very lightweight and looks a little fragile. However, we tested it out without paying attention to the product's title that reads, "Covacure Camping Hammock - Lightweight Double Hammock, Holds Up to 772lbs." Everybody wanted to relax in the hammock, so we did... Three grown adults all in the same hammock for a couple of hours, and it stayed intact to our surprise.

Great straps, lightweight, very sturdy 350-400 and it was fine, and easy to setup.
My 9yo has several hammocks and we hammock camp a lot. We have tried a lot of hammocks out and this is his favorite one. If this hammock came with a built in guy line then it would be comparable to the expensive hammocks for sure. You get a good diagonal lay. I wouldn’t recommend sleeping 2 because it’s not going to be comfortable. It would definitely hold 2 people but for the price just buy 2 for the comfort. We ended up pairing with an under quilt, rain fly, and over quilt and we stayed warm, dry, and comfortable.
My 9yo has several hammocks and we hammock camp a lot. We have tried a lot of hammocks out and this is his favorite one. After 4 years and plenty of use, I’d have to say this is an excellent stater hammock for kids and adults.
I’ve had no issues with it thus far and I’d have to say I admire the durability of it with the price point. It’s comfortable, packs away small, is light weight and comes with a bug net with a ridge line. What more could you ask for for under $30?
Like I mentioned earlier, it’s a great for a stater hammock. You can buy this to begin with to see if you’re even into hammock camping and if you are, you can eventually upgrade and save this for a friend, relative, child or significant other to come along with you to hammock camp and be comfortable and protected away from insects such as mosquitoes.
