Yeah, the adhesive on the back apparently doesn't work too well, from what everyone says - but I wasn't worried about that anyway. Where do you SEE roaches crawling in your house? Usually, on the floor! I've never seen a roach crawling along the underside of a cabinet - I'm not saying they don't, but it doesn't seem to be a very common place for them! So I don't care if I can't stick these up into places like that, where roaches are less likely to be anyway! In my case, the palmetto bugs are usually down on the floor, so I tuck a few of these off in a corner, or in a gap between the wall & some furniture or some other such place. I've *seen* the roaches going at the bait, so I know they are strongly attracted to it. When I had pets, I made sure to only put these into some tiny narrow gaps way back behind furniture, or someplace where the animals definitely could not get at them, but they were still in places along the floor or elsewhere, where the roaches were most likely to be. I've never even bothered with the adhesive on them.
IF you have a lot of roaches, you very well might find dead roaches after using this product. That's icky, I know - but it shows that they are being killed! The roaches aren't always going to be courteous enough to leave your house before they die after eating this bait! :) I'd rather have to pick up a few dead roaches & then be rid of them for good, than to continue having live roaches running around!
At least for me, once I've had these strips out for maybe a couple weeks, then I don't see any roaches at all again for at least 6 months or more. That's been my personal experience, at least. I have never had any product give me this type of results, so I hope I can continue to find these strips for a long long time!
I can't say how they will work with other types of roaches - I don't have any problems with the little "german cockroaches" so I have no idea how these will work for those -- but for the big huge nasty "palmetto bug" roaches we get here in FL, these strips are wonderful!
It was beyond us how she had so many, she was an older lady and unable to do very much so we decided to help where we could. We had tried multiple liquid baits, traps, powders and etc all completely unsuccessful. So we had seen online some various reviews of these and figured why not try it. Her home is about 1100 square feet.
We bought 3 packs in order to try and attack it hard. We placed 2 in each bathroom, 3 in her kitchen, 2 in each bedroom, 3 in the livingrooms, 2 in the laundry room, then we waited. I'm telling you her home is far from clean but it did the trick literally we stopped by about 3 times a week to check days and nights and in the last month we seen 5 in total that were still alive, where before we seen hundreds <--- this number is not an exaggeration hundreds.
So for us this was a successful product and I don't know the various roaches she had or kind but they were small and large so hopefully this helps anyone trying to get rid of a roach issue. But definitely I think for the price I would recommend at least 3 packs depending on your house size.
The only negative I say there was the adhesive doesn't stick very long, so we removed those and just set them behind things we knew her dogs couldn't get to.

We also use the combat closed bait traps, but I wanted to try these as well for more coverage. With pets in the house we have to be careful about what products we use so I was interested in the sticky ones because they would not be accessible to the pets.
Not sure I would buy again.
You may be better off by getting a tube of the gel from combat and applying it yourself then a sticky gimmick that doesn’t work.
