About this item

  • PROVEN RESULTS – Tested and proven to stop squirrels and chipmunks from digging without using harmful chemicals and dangerous poisons.
  • NATURAL INGREDIENTS & PET SAFE – Safe for people, pets, and the environment. Contains NO harmful chemicals or poisons, and has NO foul odors. While this repellent is safe for wild birds, it is NOT intended to keep squirrels off of bird feeders.
  • STOPS DIGGING – Unlike liquid repellents, this granular formula is activated by the digging motion - giving squirrels a heavy dose of highly irritating botanical oils when it matters most
  • PROTECTS BULBS & SEEDS – Stops squirrels from digging up newly planted bulbs and seeds. Used by professional landscapers to protect new bulb installations
  • SAFE FOR PLANTS – Our long-lasting granular formula is tough on squirrels but gentle on plants. Safe to use around seedlings, flowers, and vegetables.

Terrible product design! Repelled squirrels until rain came!

Terrible product design! Repelled squirrels until rain came!
This product was recommended to me by a relative when he saw my post about squirrels hiding peanuts and the later retrieving them from my potted plants. Once I received 1 container that I ordered, I immediately went to my backyard. I was excited at first, but I was immediately very disappointed! As the pictures shows, the cap opening faces the holder of the plastic container. I wanted to spray the granules to my potted plants by holding the repellent on my left hand, while holding on my right hand a small trowel so that I could spread them properly on the soil. Impossible to do so because I have to use both hands to pour the granules, then do the spreading. Big waste of my time! After applying, the squirrels indeed avoided my pots for 2 days, until it rained. I poured again a little bit on to my plants, but I immediately used up 1 container in less than a week. I won't be buying this product again.

Title: Ineffective Squirrel Repellent - A Disappointing Purchase

Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1 out of 5 stars)

I recently purchased the "I Must Garden Squirrel Repellent" with high hopes of finally putting an end to the incessant squirrel problem in my yard. Unfortunately, this product not only failed to live up to its claims but also seemed to exacerbate the issue.

Upon application of the "I Must Garden Squirrel Repellent," it was apparent that this product had little to no effect on the squirrels in my area. In fact, it appeared to attract even more squirrels to my yard. I had initially hoped that this repellent would deter them from digging up my yard and causing havoc, but it did the opposite.

The squirrels not only seemed undeterred by the scent of the product but also became more brazen in their destructive behavior. I noticed an increase in the number of squirrels in my yard, and they seemed more active and determined to dig up my yard than ever before. It's clear that this repellent had no effect on deterring these persistent critters.

I followed the application instructions carefully, ensuring I coated the areas I wanted to protect adequately. Despite my best efforts, the "I Must Garden Squirrel Repellent" simply did not deliver on its promises. It was a disappointing waste of time and money.

I cannot recommend this product to others dealing with squirrel problems. It not only failed to work as advertised but also seemed to attract more squirrels to my yard, making the situation even worse. Save your money and explore other, more effective options to keep these pests at bay.
