First, this product leaves and oily film over everything that you spray it on. If you wipe off the film, the product is an effective. Also, the product does not last. About two days later, there are ants on the same surface that you treated. I know that the label warns about slippery floors but The oil residue left behind and the task of cleaning up that oil residue is just not worth using this product.

This seemed to me to be a great product when I first started using it used! I sprayed it in a shared four-unit garage, as a courtesy for everyone. It left an oil stain on every concrete surface and oil residue on walls. It took me hours with a grease cutter to get the stain out of the concrete.

It killed spiders on contact, and I expect the essential oils stuck inside the cracks and crevices where I sprayed it. It smelled pleasant and I think it would be more safe to breathe than others. But any overspray on a porous surface is very difficult to remove.
