My pitbull mix has always loved being outside as often as possible. A few years ago we were visiting my grandmother. There was a huge bee hive and we had to call a beekeeper. He came and took the hive and the queen bee. He told us the worker bees were going to be real angry for a few days. "Real angry"? That's an understatement. I lay a blanket down which minimizes him feeling blades of grass and thinking somethings crawling on him, and put the thermacell next to him. He can relax and even sleep OUTSIDE! It's amazing. He can get up and go play and run around our 6+ acres and then go back and lay in the safe zone.
